Id be Dako, playin' a flute. In a tree. For some reason.

I dunno why, but there's a 99% chance that if I'm picturing someone with an instrument, they're sitting in a tree. This works for just about all of them - flutes, drums, tubas, pianos, guitars, ect..... (it doesn't seem to work for oboes, for the simple reason that I don't actually know what they look like.)

.9% chance they're on a rock, .1% that they're actually playing it normally.

Anyway! I'm pretty sure Wren said Dako plays a flute, something akin the the Dizi flute? I'd say that here he's either playing "Peat Fire Flame" or Kate Dalrymple" by the Corries (an absolutely awesome Scottish folk pair.) [link] [link]

...This might have something to do with how my brain has decided that Dako sounds either like them or like the lead singer from Cake, depending on what I'm listening too at the time. Which is generally the Corries, which may be why my brain also decided that Dako has a Scottish accent that only comes out when he sings. Ergo, he doesn't sing often. >>

This was mostly done for the practice - my next chapter of OLaC takes place in a forest, and I have no idea how to draw one. I must say though, I don't really care much for the close leaves...

That's right... it's something like the Dizi flute. I actually sat and listened to the sound of different types of flutes before picking one I felt worked with Kudako.

Another great Dako picture! I'm glad that someone likes him enough to do so much fan art! *laugh*
